CAREER OVERVIEW

I’ve been a working bassist since 1989, with over 35 years of touring, recording and live performance at the highest level.

I’m used to working in demanding professional environments where preparation, consistency and delivery under pressure are essential

LIVE PERFORMANCE

I’ve toured and performed worldwide with artists including:

Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden), Tony Hadley, Go West, Paul Young, Nik Kershaw, Holly Johnson, Rick Astley, Nick Heyward, Hue and Cry and Bananarama.

I’ve been the bassist for Martin Fry’s ABC since 2005. Recent highlights have included:sold-out UK & US tours, and a Sky Arts television special performing The Lexicon of Love live with a full orchestra

I’m also a long-standing member of Belinda Carlisle’s touring band, with a stadium tour opening for Take That scheduled for 2026

STUDIO AND RECORDING WORK

My studio work spans commercial albums, radio sessions, film soundtracks and everything in between. Selected credits include:

• Abbey Road Studios sessions
• ABC — Traffic (album tracks)
• Jane McDonald — album recording
• Nativity — film soundtrack (starring Martin Freeman)

I work comfortably in both high-end studio environments and remote recording situations, delivering clean, musical, mix-ready bass parts with precision and feel.
